Clean and Green Turf — Renovation and Lawn Care

KAYSVILLE · LAYTON · FARMINGTON · DAVIS COUNTY

A lawn that's green in July.
Built by science, not by accident.

Custom fertilizer programs. Soil-test-driven biostimulants. Targeted iron, potassium, wetting agents, PGR — the science chain companies skip. Plus full renovation when your lawn needs a reset.

Seed. Feed. Succeed.

💧

Less Water

Drought-tolerant turf uses ~30% less water than the Kentucky bluegrass sod farms ship.

🌱

Stronger Roots

Seeded grass roots 8-12" into your soil. Sod stays at 4-6" with a "soil interface" roots can't penetrate.

💵

Lower Cost

Full renovation runs $3,000-$5,000 versus $10,000-$15,000 for sod.

Same lawn, fraction of the cost.

What national chains don't do.

Most "lawn care services" run the same playbook on every lawn: blanket fertilizer, pre-emergent, post-emergent, drive away. That's not lawn care — that's lawn maintenance, and your yard deserves more.

Why it matters: Utah soils are notoriously potassium-deficient and alkaline. The chains' standard programs are designed for east-coast or PNW lawns — not Davis County. When the heat hits in July and your neighbor's lawn looks like straw, ours stays green. Because we fed it what it actually needed back in May.

Most Utah lawns don't need sod.

When sod still wins: if you're selling your house this month, hosting an event in two weeks, or have an HOA requiring instant green, sod is the right call. For everyone else, seeding wins on cost, water, and long-term lawn health.

3 reasons seeding wins for Utah

🌾

Right grass.

Specialty tall fescue is bred for hot, dry climates. The Kentucky bluegrass that fills sod farms isn't — it's a Pacific Northwest grass that drinks heavily in Utah summers.

💧

30% less water.

Deeper roots find moisture below. Davis County has water restrictions for a reason — a properly seeded lawn works with them, not against them.

🚚

Small footprint.

No truck. No plastic mesh buried in your yard. Seed travels in a 50-lb bag and grows in your existing soil.

Every quote is itemized.
Every product is disclosed.
Every application is logged.

We specialize in cool-season turf renovation for Davis County — which means we know which grasses survive a Utah July, how to time a seeding window around our climate, and which sprinkler quirks kill germination.

If you can see what we did, what we used, and why we did it — and you wouldn't be embarrassed to tell your neighbor what it cost — we did our job.
